- Appear at the Board to represent Company’s interests for lien resolution and asbestos claims.
- Resolve liens from other Adjusters’ workers’ compensation claims files.
- Analyze coverage issues and determine exposure to properly set claim reserves.
- Identify, assign, and coordinate the assignment and coordination of expertise resources to assist in case resolution.
- Applying creative solutions which result in the best financial outcome.
- Processing mail and prioritizing workload.
- Responsible for telephone calls from various parties (insured, claimant, medical facilities, etc.).
- Developing excellent working relationships with applicant attorneys.
- As time permits complete appearances, depositions, and walk through settlements for workers’ compensation claims being managed by other Adjusters.

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
- Must have good business acumen (i.e. understand how an insurance company works and makes money, including how this role impacts both Argonaut’s and our customers’ ability to be profitable).
- Minimum of five years of successful workers’ compensation claim management experience in managing asbestos claims and proactively resolve lien claims.
- Professional appearance and demeanor at all times, and particularly when representing Company’s interests at the Board for lien resolution and asbestos cases.
- Must have strong litigation management skills and excellent knowledge of applicable case law.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
